Over 2,000 Attendees Welcomed at the 2026 Community Fair

Every child should be able to head back to school with all of the tools they need for a great year. Not only that, but they should have the exciting chance to choose their own school supplies!

That’s why Grace Care Center hosts an annual Care Center Community Fair to provide Central Indiana students with backpacks, supplies, and so much more.

The 2026 Community Fair was a day filled with fun and celebration as we looked forward to the upcoming school year. This year, we welcomed over 2,000 attendees.

Every child who joined us at the Fair was able to select a brand new backpack as well as a set of school supplies, including folders, pencils, and notebooks. They then headed over to pick out a new pair of shoes (and socks!) before having the option to receive a free haircut.

The Choice Food Pantry was also open so that families could stock up on healthy snacks and meals. And a team of volunteers was on-site to provide free vehicle services to parents looking to make sure their car is ready to go for all the trips to school, sports, and activities ahead.

But that’s not all! Families enjoyed a tasty lunch as well as various games and booths presented by businesses and organizations in the community, all with the goal of getting students excited about the school year.

But we couldn’t have done it without our incredible partners, over 350 volunteers, and YOU!

We appreciate every donor, volunteer, and partner who made this event possible. Sponsors this year included JD Finish Line Foundation, Vasey Commercial Facility Solutions, Jeremy Coons with Edward Jones Financial in Carmel, Hamilton County Commissioner Mark Heirbrandt, Starbucks at State Road 32 & Oak Ridge in Westfield, Grace Care Center Foundation and Christian Brothers Automotive.

Thank you for helping us make sure that Central Indiana students are ready and excited to head back to school!
