Northview Church Donates 76,000+ Diapers and Wipes
Our community partners at Northview Church recently hosted a diaper drive for Grace Care Center. Over the course of a few weeks, Northview Westfield and Northview Noblesville competed to see which campus could collect the most diapers and baby wipes for Central Indiana families.
In total, Northview collected 33,016 diapers and 43,880 wipes!
We could barely believe our eyes when this incredible donation was dropped off. Then, just last week, several volunteers joined us to sort and prepare the diapers and wipes for distribution.
These essential items will be made available to Care Center Friends through the Choice Food Pantry. Here, families with babies and young children are given points to use towards diapers and wipes each week.
Having access to diapers and wipes helps keep babies dry and healthy, without causing their parents stress over choosing between diapers, food, and other bills.
The Choice Food Pantry stretches grocery budgets by providing access to these baby items, plus other household goods, in addition to a wide selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, and meat products, as well as shelf-stable goods, eggs and dairy choices, and much more.
Because we received this generous donation of diapers and wipes from Northview Church, we will be able to use more resources from donors to stock our shelves with these other necessities.
Thank you, Northview Church, and to all who donated or helped collect this incredible number of diapers and wipes. Plus, thank you to our dedicated volunteers who came in to sort and prepare them for our families!
Each and every one of you is a gift, and we are blessed to have partners like Northview in our corner.
