Transformation & Strength: Grace Care Center Foundation’s Summer Recap 2025

We have a lot of things to celebrate in our summer recap this year! Looking back on the last few months here at the Grace Care Center Foundation, two words stand out: transformation and strength.

Our donors made it possible for our Care Center Friends to experience life-changing transformations, even during a time filled with changes in government support. Your support provided the strength Central Indiana families needed, whether through extra points in the Choice Food Pantry, much-needed diapers, or a selection of school supplies.

Here’s our summer recap for 2025!

More Than $90,000 Raised for Central Indiana Families

The highlight of our summer was watching our donors step up in a big way for Central Indiana families.

With school out, many families’ grocery budgets were stretched extra thin as they covered meals and snacks typically provided by schools. Pair this with changes in support from the government, and our families were really feeling the strain.

In response to these challenges, the Care Center committed to providing every family with an extra five points to shop in the Choice Food Pantry, every week in June and July.

When we shared this goal with our supporters, you did something incredible: $89,574 was donated to help make these extra points possible!

2,830 Impacted by the Grace Care Center Community Fair

Towards the end of July, Grace Care Center hosted our annual Community Fair. This year, 2,830 people came out for a day of fun and celebration as we prepared to start the 2025-2026 school year.

Every child had the option to receive a free haircut, new shoes (and socks!), a set of school supplies, and a backpack of their choice. Plus, we offered tasty snacks to attendees, the Choice Food Pantry was open, and several community partners joined us with games and treats.

In total, we distributed 1,500 backpacks, 1,500 pairs of shoes, 1,000 lemonades and iced coffees, 1,536 hot dogs, and 600 balloons. Plus, 87 people received free haircuts, 150 cars were serviced, 160 families visited the Choice Food Pantry, and 26 bikes were repaired.

Thank you to every donor, volunteer, and partner who made this event possible. Our Community Fair partners this year included Characters HQ, Wagner Reese, Starbucks, Trinity Free Clinic, Anthem Health Insurance, Hamilton County Health Department, Noblesville Boom, Hear & Soul Clinic, and Christian Brothers Automotive.

250 Families Received Heat Relief through Duke Energy

Duke Energy understands the need for heat relief during these hot Indiana summers. Many families experience increased utility bills as they try to keep up with staying cool.

To relieve some of this stress, Duke Energy provided a grant that made it possible for us to provide X Care Center Friends and families with fans and other cooling resources

86,000 Diapers Donated During the Diaper Drive

In May, Grace Care Center hosted a diaper drive with a goal of collecting diapers and other baby essentials. These critical items are distributed to families in need throughout the year through the Choice Food Pantry.

This year, 86,000 diapers were donated through this drive. These diapers will be a huge blessing to parents and caregivers, who can then focus on using their budgets to provide their children with other necessities. 👶

Thank You for Making these Summer Successes Possible!

None of the successes in this summer recap would be possible without the amazing donors, partners, and volunteers who so generously support the Grace Care Center mission.

Thank you for helping us transform lives by giving Central Indiana families strength and stability.

Now let’s finish 2025 strong together!
