Breaking Barriers & Changing Lives: The 2024 Impact Report

2024 was a year of breaking barriers here at Grace Care Center and the Grace Care Center Foundation. Together, we teamed up with our incredible partners, donors, and volunteers to meet the rising demand for our services and programs.

Last year, Grace Care Center served 2,533 Central Indiana families. 48 percent of these families received services for the first time. And a record-breaking $1.6 million worth of goods was distributed through the Choice Food Pantry and Mobile Food Pantry. 

But fulfilling a family’s need for food is often just the beginning at Grace Care Center. Instead of offering a quick fix, our goal is to move each family from crisis to stability to lasting change. 

This is accomplished through our life-altering services and programs, which provide access to English classes, zero-interest loans, vehicle maintenance, financial coaching, and so much more. Every one of our services is aimed at helping Central Indiana families break the cycle of poverty and live fulfilling lives. 

But we can’t do this without our supporters. In 2024, 699 Foundation donors fueled impact through their generosity. And we welcomed 477 new volunteers throughout the year. We also partnered with dozens of community organizations to increase impact.

It is because of you that families who visit Grace Care Center find more than just immediate help - they discover hope, stability, and a clear path forward. Thank you for making a real difference in the lives of people living right here in our community.
