That’s why Grace Care Center hosts an annual Care Center Community Fair to provide Central Indiana students with backpacks, supplies, and so much more.

Grace Care Center Empowers
Grace Care Center is focused on creating a shared understanding of who we are and who we are committed to becoming. This helps us operate smoothly, as every staff member and volunteer knows what we are working toward.
When we developed our new strategic plan, we named a set of five values that shape how we show up in our community. We’ve been sharing more about each one, and why they matter.
Our next featured value is a key part of what we do here at Grace Care Center: Empower. We don’t offer a band-aid or a hand-out; we equip Care Center Friends with tools that truly empower them to make long-lasting changes.
Fueling Hope for Josh + Nicole
Anyone’s life can change in an instant.
Josh and Nicole were busy working and raising their children. They also made sure to volunteer whenever possible, with Nicole spending a lot of time as a mentor to teen girls.
Two years ago, Josh – an Army veteran – unexpectedly fell severely ill. So ill that he had to be placed on life support. Several complications followed, and he lost both of his legs..
In a heartbeat, the couple that had given so much found that they were the ones in need of help.
This is their story – a story of resilience, community, and hope in the face of difficult times.

Everyone Matters

We’re starting with our first value: Everyone matters.

Until recently, the Co-op has been open to Care Center Friends on Tuesday evenings and Wednesday mornings. With the help of our donors, volunteers, and partners, we have officially added a Monday evening option!
